How Does The Letting Process Work?
Step 1 - Accurate Market Valuation
Our valuers carry out several inspections of rental property similar to yours on a daily basis. We have expert knowledge of the rental market, built up over the past 15 years. We are therefore confident that we can provide you with an accurate on the spot rental valuation. Save time and request a free rental valuation today.
Step 2 - Select easylet as your letting agent
Good choice. You have chosen a well respected industry leader. Our professional team will now set about finding a suitable tenant for you. Photography will be arranged and a full marketing schedule will be put in place. Within 24 hours your property will be fully marketed and viewings will be scheduled. All prospective tenants will be accompanied by our personnel.
Step 3 - Tenancy agreement
In order to ensure that the tenancy will run smoothly it is necessary to have a formal tenancy agreement. We will provide the most up to date agreement available and ensure that it is completed by both parties. An inventory of contents should form part of the tenancy agreement . Employment and previous landlord and in some cases accountants certificates are requested and verified as part of the letting process.
Step 4 - Security deposit and 1st month’s rent
We will secure a security deposit (usually equivalent to one month’s rent) and the 1st months rent from the tenant.
Step 5 - Transaction complete!
Finally, we will prepare bank standing order mandate, PRTB form, transfer utilities and organize tenant check in. That’s it done – your property is now let!
